|| FIRST FLOOR
The Needle Woman sits on the floor in the Dining Room, rocking slowly back and forth. Occasionally she sobs to herself, or laughs, or does some variation of both at once. Her scalp and arms are covered with blood, though it is difficult to tell from what, as anyone stepping over the threshold will find that her soft cries give ways to screaming, and she leaps to her feet to chase them.
She will not cross the threshold, and though she cannot see it will stop exactly in front of the doorway, rocking and breathing loudly through her mouth, as though attempting to find her prey once more. Poison drips from the ends of her needle covered hands, and anyone cut with them will quickly find themselves slipping away into madness, convinced that something terrible lies just beneath their skin, waiting to consume them from the inside out.
She is easy to avoid, for those who do not wish to tangle with her, there are other kitchens, of course. Still, her laughter and sobs will make themselves known through the entire Second House, picking at those who hear it as though to plead with them for help.
In the Rough Kitchen a young man dressed as a priest is frantically scrubbing his bloody hands, looking entirely alarmed by the current state of his clothes. He is praying softly to himself as he scrubs, and seems to be trying to remain calm, though he is rather unsuccessful. A few in the house might recognize Joseph.
Though the room does not appear to be a safe room to those that are sensitive enough to pick up such things, the monsters will not go inside.
Rose stands in the Bell Tower, though her mind is very clearly elsewhere. She stares intently at the bell, reaching out like she is considering touching it. She paces around the perimeter of the room, stamping her feet and fussing and fuming. She will talk to anyone willing to enter close quarters with her, though she is evidently distracted.
It seems as though someone has attacked the roses in the Rose Garden, the air is still full of petals, and a wind seems to have lingered in this area, making the entire scene seem almost uncanny.
The Lady In White kneels on the disturbed soil, hands clutching the dirt tightly. The wind catches her dress and her hair, seeming to emphasize how beautiful she is. Anyone who encounters will find themselves seeing instead of the woman, someone they themselves have loved and lost. The resemblance is perfect, uncannily so. As they approach, she will rise from the soil, turning to them with her hands outstretched, imploring them to come closer.
It is very difficult to resist the call of someone they miss so dearly.
She is deadly tonight.
In the Blank Library, someone has taken up residence, though a casual observer might miss her completely. Ricci has settled into a corner, writing quickly in a book on her lap, barely pausing to give what she has written the least bit of consideration.
Cradled against her shoulder is a sleeping baby, wrapped carefully in a blanket. The baby doesn’t stir, and there seems to have been some care taken to keep a layer of fabric between the woman and the child.
She seems somewhat receptive to being chatted with, if a bit distracted by whatever has so consumed her attention.

|| SECOND FLOOR
A visitor has appeared in the Public Restroom, ready to greet any patrons. It does not take long, after entering, for the house guests to realize that they are not, in fact, completely alone. There is, at first, the strange sensation of something moving; its pure presence making itself known. Their skin begins to prickle, not at all like someone is watching—but instead like something is crawling over their skin, one hundred pinpricks at a time, constantly moving over them and underneath their clothes.
Though nothing can ever be found on their bodies, some may later find a red rash spreading from where it touched their skin.
A small, glowing white butterfly flutters around the Photographer Bedroom, rarely alighting on anything for more than a moment. It offers the room a strange, translucent glow. The light is dim, but reassuringly present.
