In the Stables the children stand just inside the doors, peering out at the blizzard that has driven them inside. The Lonely Ghost Boy has his hand extended, catching snow flakes on his finger tips.
The Mute Ghost Girl stands just beside him, eyes wide as she watches the heavy snowfall. They both seem fascinated, though they remain unsmiling as they study the cold.
The Crawling Boy sits on the ground just out of reach of the snow, nose wrinkled as he rubs his hands together, as though to return circulation to his fingertips. His face is still bright red from the outside cold.
The Boy Twin looks increasingly bothered, his gaze continually returning to deeper in the house, though he makes no move to leave the other children.
The horses move restlessly in their stalls, clearly disturbed by the storm.
The children are almost strangely quiet, watching the falling flakes of white rather than speaking to each other.
In the Leather Study someone has been going through the books, several sit open on the desk. The room appears to have been thoroughly gone over at some point, and the painting over the hidden door is entirely askew. There is no sign of the person who trashed the room, though the crane from the Birdcage room is curled up in one of the chairs. It is fluffed up with its head tucked under a wing and appears to be asleep, though any attempts at bothering it will find it shifting away from touches and clacking its beak at hands.
There is quiet jazz music coming from the Gentleman's Lounge. The air is almost thick with smoke and fog, the air musky and strong. The room is warm, but not in the way associated with safety; it is simply that the lights are too bright, the purple and red light swathing the room is too oppressive. The Sirens dance and sing together on the stage, performing a slow routine to the music. They seem almost unaware if they are watched, as if they are more interested in each other, intense golden eyes only for one another. But it is so inviting to climb onto the stage with them. It's an alluring sight, this slow seduction that begs for others to join if they ever want to catch the eyes of these beauties. The woman smile smoothly to one another, and only if someone else joined them on the stage would they be willing to pay them any mind, inviting them to join the dance and be a part of things before sharp talons strip them of their flesh.

|| SECOND FLOOR
As night falls anyone in the Upper Hallway will see the black dog leave the Silk Bedroom. He glances back over his shoulder at the room, almost regretful, and then shakes himself vigorously. There is a groan from the dog as he starts to shake, and an audible crackling sound as his bones begin to shift and change. He doesn’t seem to care that anyone might be watching, but once it is done Lyhn kneels where the dog was a moment ago. His robes are missing, and he is only wearing a pair of black slacks, feet and chest bare despite the chill in the air. He remains on his hands and knees for a long moment before he pushes himself to his feet. The look he gives the door of the Silk Room is wistful, but it passes after a moment and he moves down the hallway without looking back again. By the time the guests awaken from their slumber, Lyhn has located a shirt and shoes, and has relocated to the Husk Bedroom. He is not alone there.
The man from the Velvet Room sits against the wall, his hands bound behind his back. His head is covered with a plain cloth hood, and his skin is sticky with sweat and blood. His arms and chest are clearly marked with open, weeping sores, and nothing seems to be done to look after the injuries. There is blood on the wall behind him, and he shivers constantly despite the warmth of the room. His head is bowed, chin resting on his chest. He makes no attempt to rise from his position, and remains silent despite any attempts to gain his attention.
Lyhn seems somewhat concerned with his condition, but doesn’t move from the chair he has claimed as his own. His arms are settled, crossed over his chest, and his eyes are flinty as he studies the woman who shares the space with him. He appears wholly unimpressed with her and the situation as it unfolds, but is not currently vocally objecting to it. His concern for the man, and perhaps a small amount of concern for the child, seem to be keeping him silent for the moment.
The woman in question sits on the bed, and though she seems familiar to many of the guests who see her, she is not someone they know. She is pale, her skin nearly translucent, and dressed in many layers of sheer white fabric. A veil draped over her pale blonde hair, hiding her eyes from view. Her gaze never moves from Lyhn, lips pressed into a thin, humorless line.
On her lap lays the Girl Twin, dressed in a smaller copy of the woman’s outfit. The woman continually runs her fingers through the hair of the child, straightening the crimson strands. The child does not appear to be comforted by the action, and instead tosses nervous looks constantly at the injured man sitting against the wall, as though seeking some form of reassurance from him. She also makes no attempt to rise from her position, almost defeated.
The Lantern sits on the floor between the two, casting its glow around the room.
Elsewhere in the house, each of Lyhn's Students will feel as though they are being summoned to this room.
Hana remains in the door to the Silk Bedroom, kneeling just inside the room and with her eyes cast toward the drama that is just out of sight. She is remarkably calm in demeanour, sitting still and silent, but any who look closer will find her fear impossible to deny.
So long as they are within the Third House, Ienzo, Masamune, and Mercury will feel called to this room. Not drawn or summoned, but gently beckoned.
