|| FIRST FLOOR
In the Lower Hallway the Boneless roam, though they are not particularly fast or graceful. They have a tendency to place themselves just outside a door they have seen someone enter, waiting for them to come back out. Anyone sleeping in this area might find themselves with company if they attempt to leave.
A pale golden butterfly sits above the oven in the Bakery, its wings moving slowly back and forth as though it might take flight.
Dave has prepared for the night in the Seedy Bar, and anyone making their way to the bar will find that he has gloves, scarves, warm coats, blankets and warm drinks waiting for them. The chill of the night seems to have dimmed his normally jovial expression, and he continues to seem distracted, attention elsewhere. When he thinks nobody is looking, he seems almost pensive, as though he very much would like to be elsewhere.
The aid he offers and the concern he shows to the chilled guests seem genuine, and he will happily do whatever they ask of him. The room is considerably warmer than the rest of the house, and those who enter it might find it difficult to leave to face the cold again.
The Silenced Woman kneels in the middle of the Opium Den, her head bowed as though in prayer. Her hands are covered in something dark and sticky, though it is difficult to tell precisely what it is. The room is warm and welcoming tonight, but those who enter might find themselves tempted in ways they have never felt before to try her wares.

|| SECOND FLOOR
Packed in the Upper Halls are the Chestmouth monsters, their blind bodies fumbling for any sense of movement near them. This often results in them grasping at each other, rather than the house-guests that pass them. They will quickly try to consume anything they manage to capture, though they are rather indiscriminate with their attempts.
In the Fresh Storage, the Cook can be found browsing the foods. Although he looks bloody and still carries the usual knife he doesn't seem inclined to attack unless provoked and pays little attention to anyone else as he keeps investigating the storage. In fact he seems a bit distracted, judging by the deep frown and the way he occasionally mutters to himself as he picks at the vegetables and other foodstuff, critically examining each one he picks up. He doesn't seem to intend to anything but that, though, and puts each item back where he found it before his eyes are caught by the next.
The door to the Smoke House is solidly locked, fluids leaking from beneath the door. The constant sound of something being struck and the wet, meaty sound of something hard striking flesh is constantly repeated. No attempts to open the door will prove successful, though the sounds grow in intensity as the night passes.
In the breaks between the noises, the soft sound of whimpering can occasionally be heard.

|| BASEMENT
The Eyeless Woman sits quietly on the bed of the Soft Bedroom. She is starkly out of place, and impossible to miss -- her grey and dusty appearance casting a sharp contrast against the soft pastel colours of the room. She holds her hands in her lap and faces the door, empty sockets locked onto anyone who appears in the doorway, staring through them, and listening to the soft footsteps of someone unseen slowly circling the room.

|| ATTIC
In the Hoarders Attic, the Frozen Woman is sitting on the bed. It is snowing in the bedroom, fat white flakes drifting from the ceiling and covering the floor. She has tossed her hood back for once, and beneath the covering she is quite plain. Her face is slightly too fine and thin for prettiness, and her hair is a shade too dark of gold for her coloring. Her eyes, however, seem to look through the people that enter the room, as though she looks beneath their skin to who they really are. Her lips are twisted into something that is almost a smile as she watches the snow, and the expression transforms her face from plain to pleasing. The room is quiet, all sound muffled by the fall of the snow.
It seems almost peaceful, so peaceful in fact that despite the chill of the room, nobody entering will feel any real inclination to leave it behind. Perhaps they might sit with her for a little while and watch the snow fall. After that, perhaps the lethargy that grips their bodies might give way to sleep.
There is no rush, no hurry, only the yawning chasm of sleep waiting to claim them.
